PSYBT award for Greenspace Landscapes

In 2010 Greenspace Landscapes were proud to win the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust regional award for Young Business of the Year in Edinburgh and Lothians. This represents a great achievement for the business and we hope it demonstrates to our customers our commitment to providing high quality gardening services and respecting the natural environment in which we work. We hope this award will be the first of many to come in the future as our business continues to grow and flourish. Below you can read more about the award in an article written by Colin Calder for Business7 Insider.

He started his business venture in early 2009 and now boasts more than forty clients throughout the Lothians, Fife and central Scotland.

Recently he recruited another member of staff and has expanded by introducing a professional lawn care service which has proved very popular among his clients. The business is profitable and has surpassed its growth targets set for the first year.

MacDonald was presented with a £1,000 cash prize and goes forward to the Scottish national final which takes place at Glasgow’s City Chambers on November 16.

Grant Laidlaw, PSYBT regional manager, said, “Our regional finalists have demonstrated ambition, courage and determination to set up and develop their own businesses.

“Youth enterprise is something to be recognised and applauded and we wish Greenspace all the best for the national final.”
